Even while keeping her thoughts to herself she jumped through the hoops she felt expected to jump through, but only because she felt expected to. When she found herself too wide to see all of herself in the floor-length mirror or she found another of Lucy’s shirts or pair of leggings in her own wardrobe, any instance of being confronted with her own expanding girth was met with a sigh and the promise that she needed to reverse course; get her eating under control, be more active.
